Snowdrift Cowl
A relaxing and easy knit to enjoy after a full and busy day, with a relaxing combination of garter stitch, simple lace and easy mosaic colour work.
Designed to use with an Advent Calendar (any EVEN number of days/yarns, a minimum of 10x10g mini skeins of fingering weight yarn), but works just as beautifully in two colours or leftover treasured yarns.
The pattern begins with a provisional cast on and is knit back and forth, until the end of a twelfth yarn, or carry on knitting, it’s your call (as long as you have an EVEN number of yarns/minis).
Gauge is not crucial to this pattern, however it will affect the amount of yarn required for each section. On a needle range of 3.5mm-4.5mm, less than 10g/40m of yarn was used for each section.
The two ends of the cowl can either be grafted at the end or bound off using a three-needle bind off.
