Shipping Information

EU SHIPPING INFORMATION FROM 1 JULY 2021:

FROM 1 JULY 2021 ALL PARCELS ENTERING EU COUNTRIES FROM THE U.K. WILL BE LIABLE TO THAT COUNTRY’S  VAT, DUTIES AND HANDLING CHARGES. AT THE CURRENT TIME, THERE IS NO METHOD FOR U.K. BUSINESSES TO COLLECT VAT FOR EU COUNTRIES AND CHARGE CUSTOMERS AT THE POINT OF ORDERING. 

PLEASE DO NOT ORDER IF YOU ARE NOT COMPLETELY HAPPY TO PAY THESE CHARGES AS RETURNED PARCELS MAY HAVE TO HAVE THESE CHARGES PAID BY NORAH GEORGE YARNS AND THIS IS NOT A COST THAT CAN BE RECOVERED. 

Prices are calculated using Royal Mail's current pricing structure which can be found HERE

 PLEASE BE AWARE THAT IF YOU PLACE AN ORDER WITH ITEMS WITH DIFFERENT SHIPPING TIME ESTIMATES, ALL ITEMS WILL SHIP TOGETHER AT THE LATEST SHIPPING DATE OF THE ITEMS IN THAT ORDER (for example if you order a Club with a “next month” shipping date and an in stock yarn, your order will ship once the Club is ready). I CANNOT SEND OUT ITEMS IN SEPARATE DELIVERIES WHEN ONLY ONE AMOUNT OF POSTAGE IS CHARGED

 

 

UK Shipping

You have a choice of using:

  1. First Class  (this does not include tracking or insurance)
  2. Special Delivery Guaranteed by 1pm  (full tracking and insurance included)
  3. Tracked 24

 

 

International Shipping

After December 31st 2020, the United Kingdom will be leaving the European Union.  As a result, parcels sent to European countries will now be liable for handling. customs and import charges. These handling, custom and import charges are the responsibility of the recipient, and this applies to both European and non-European countries. Please consult your own country’s regulations for more information.

Norah George Yarns does not charge VAT (Value Added Tax) to its customers.


You have a choice of using:

  1. Royal Mail International Standard  (this includes no tracking or insurance)
  2. Royal Mail International Tracked  (this includes tracking, insurance up to the full amount of your order and requires a signature on delivery).  Please note: this option cannot be used for delivery to PO Boxes or Pack Stations 

International Orders are subect to different pricing, dependant on your location.

The "Zones" for pricing are split into:

  • Europe
  • World Zone 1
  • World Zone 2
  • World Zone 3

PLEASE BE AWARE THAT IF YOU CHOOSE A SHIPPING OPTION THAT DOES NOT INCLUDE TRACKING I CANNOT TRACK YOUR ORDER AT ALL ONCE IT HAS SHIPPED.

PLEASE BE AWARE THAT IF YOU CHOOSE A SHIPPING OPTION WITHOUT FULL INSURANCE I CANNOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES REFUND ANY LOST ORDERS.
