Gnorwen the Gnome | Mystery Gnome-a-Long 7 Mini Sets | IN STOCK

  • £15.00

These yarn sets have been designed to use with the new Mystery Gnome-a-Long 7, designed by Sarah of Imagined Landscapes.

Here is what Sarah has to say about Gnorwen, her new mystery Gnome (by clicking the red links, it will take you directly to Sarah's shops):

The Gnot Just Another Gnome pattern is available on Ravelry and through my Payhip shop. Please note that if you buy through the Payhip shop it is extremely important that you enter your email when prompted or there is no way to alert you when clues are updated"

Gnorwen loves working at the Gnice Cream Shoppe in the Gnorthern Ranges National Park. The park is famous for its whitewater rivers, the shop is famous for its sundaes, and Gnorwen is famous for being cold all the time working around the freezers. Tourists love to get their picture taken with her after rafting expeditions.

“Working here is magical,” says Gnorwen. “No, mean literally magical. We have a Freeze Intensifier Wand that’s really key for letting us create the kind of ice cream sculptures we’re famous for. And our boss, Mr. Sgnowman, has a Flask of EverFilling that’s been enchanted to provide different kinds of sprinkles. You shake it three times and say the kind of sprinkles you want.”

“Working here is also really cool,”says Gnorwen.“And I mean literally cold. With all this ice cream magic flying around, I’m really glad I’m made of wool!”

Gnorwen is mostly simple knitting, with a few stylish elements. There will also be video tutorials for all the parts I think you might want help with.

You’ll get an email on clue days. If you purchased on Ravelry, it will come as a “pattern update” from the Ravelry system to the email you use for PayPal. I cannot change the email this is sent to. If the pattern is in your Ravelry library, you will also get a PM.

At the end of the knitalong, I will remove all of the clue files and upload a single PDF per language with all of the clues integrated into a standard pattern.

Join in the fun on Instagram with the hashtag #GnomeMKAL7, and on Ravelry in the chatter threads. Gnome knitters are a chatty and creative bunch! If you're busy or the posts are numerous, just jump to the end and post what you want to say. Have fun, ask questions, and participate as much as you want.

Sarah has designed THE MOST adorable Gnomes over the past few years, and her mystery Gnomes are the most fun things to make!

They use JUST 3x20g Mini skeins and are not only fun, but fast to make.  Trust me, you won't stop at making just one.

I have designed three different yarm combbinations inspired by both Gnathan's, and my, love of nature.

    1. Neopolitan Waffle Cone - a soft yellow, sodft pink and speckled chocolate
  1. Bubblegum Knickerbocker Glory- natural, soft neon pink and soft aqua base with neon speckles
  2. Raspberry Ripple Sundae - natural, soft lilac/blue and muted raspberry pink

Dyed using professional dyes and processes and painted by hand. As a result, no two skeins are identical although they are dyed in batches.

Every attempt has been made to remove all excess dye from the yarn, however a little may remain - particularly with dark or vivid colours. Therefore, I always advise that you handwash your items alone. Reshape whilst damp and dry flat.

Colours may vary between viewing monitors. Please do not place 100% reliance on the image that you see as being a full reflection of the yarn. Please convo me if you would like more information.

Standard shipping does NOT include tracking or insurance. Therefore, if your parcel is lost you cannot be compensated accordingly. If you would like to add tracking and insurance to your postage, then please choose this option at checkout. I DO NOT accept responsibility for any parcels that are lost or damaged when shipped under the STANDARD option
